Apr-19-08  herrahuu: Unfortunate 5..Bg4? gives white oppurtunity to get better in development.

Crafty gives: 6. d4! exd4 7. Nxd4 Bd7 8. Be3 Qe5 9. O-O Bd6 10. Nf3 Qe6 11. Nb5 Nf6 12. Nxd6+ cxd6 13. Ng5 Qe5 14. Bf3 at the depth of 15.

Crafty thinks white could still dominate after 7. d4! exd4 8. Nxd4 Nxd4 9. Bxg4 f5 10. Be3 O-O-O 11. Bxd4 Rxd4 12. Bxf5+ Kb8 13. Qf3 Ne7 14. Bxh7 Rxh7 15. Qxf8+ at the depth of 14.

8..Ng4?? is just terrible move giving white: 9. Nxd4! exd4 10. Bxg4+ f5 11. Ne4 (Threatens queen. Black cannot take the knight with his pawn as it is pinned to the king.) Qd5 12. Bg5 (Threatens rook.) Rd7 13. Bh3 (Threatens rook.) fxe4 14. Bxd7+ (Bishop and knight for rook.) Kxd7 15. Qg4+ Kc6 16. dxe4 Qe5 17. Rae1 Bd6 18. f4 Qc5

White doesn't see this which keeps game close.

Instead of 11.b3?? white should have played 11.Nxd4 which discovers attack on bishop and wins a pawn.

22.Qe2? is bad move: with 22.Rae1 the game is equal! For example 22.Rae1 Rdg8 23.Qe2 Re8 24.Qd2 Reg8

With 26.Qe4?? white looses the game. White still had: 26.Rae1 Rh8 27.Bh1 c6 28.Qh5 Qf6 29.g4 Re7 30.f3 Re6 31.Kg2 Rh8 32.g5 h3+ 33.Kh2 Rxh5 34.gxf6 where black is slightly better.

After 30.Rf2 black had mate in 4: 30..Qh3+ 31.Kg1 Rxg3+ 32.Rg2 Rxf3 33.Re1 Qh1#

White didn't seee it but black stepped on another mate with 31.Qd5??

With 31.Qxf8+ Rxf8 32.Rxf8+ Qxf8 33.Re1 b5 34.Re5 a6 35.Re2 a5 36.Kh3 Qa3 37.g4 Qxa2 38.Kg3 a4 39.Re5 Qxc2 40.Rxb5+ Ka7 41.bxa4 Qxd3+ black still had won game but white was not mated.
