An Englishman: Good Evening: The database has exactly one other game with the position after White's 7th, and Lasker immediately kicked the Bishop with ...h6. NN vs Lasker, 1900

Perhaps Black should have tried 9...h6, even at the cost of horrible pawns.

An Englishman: Good Evening: Incidentally, the database also has 23 games where Muzychuk played the Scotch. Quite an appropriate pun!

Sep-07-17  kevin86: White gained a queen for a rook- more than enough.
Sep-07-17  sambo: why not 16... or 17...dxe5?
Sep-08-17  The Kings Domain: Fine game by the charming Ukrainian champ.
