Kibitzer's Corner
May-07-08  Karpova: 11...Qa5!! [see diagram]

A nice move highlighting White's weak queenside pawn formation.

In case of (11...Qa5) 12. Bxa5 Ba3+ 13.Kb1 Rxd1+ [see diagram]

And mate next move.

Sep-25-08  RookFile: This is really pretty, all the more amazing for a blitz game.
Jun-16-09  YoungEd: A lot of beauty packed into 15 moves! Nice explanation by <Karpova>. Good Wednesday puzzle for Black's 14th move; the rook sac is an obvious guess, but the follow-up of 15. Qd5 is the real delight.
Jan-22-11  BabalooMoon: The heartlessly objective Fritz believes 11...Ba3+ to be much stronger since after 12.Kb1 Black has the immediate 12...Bxc2+! The White King cannot capture since 13..Nb4+ would lead to a mate in 10 (appparently).

This idea lingers and applies on move 13 in the game score also.

However, 11...Qa5 seems much more elegant & romantic to me.
