Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-11-08  Microdot: Rublevsky missed 31.d7!! instead of 31.Re2?!.
What a pitty,
I analysed 31.d7!! and white is winnig in all lines!
Jul-12-08  Xeroxx: what a shame
Jul-13-08  offtherook: Has Rublevsky abandoned the Scotch game?
Jul-15-08  Xeroxx: yes thats true I think just because he didnt play it here I dont think he will never ever play it again
Jul-17-08  offtherook: <xeroxx> He has been peppering the Bishop's opening a little more frequently. "Abandoned" was too strong a word choice, but I was just surprised that he chose not to play the Scotch when given the opportunity, especially since his alternative here isn't considered to give White anything.
