<... Nakamura-Carlsen (Nakamura had very good winning chances almost start to finish, <<<but was fortunate at the end that Carlsen repeated instead of playing the probably winning 55/57...Rf5>>>), >

(VAR) 55 ... ♖f3-f5! Δ 56 ... ♖f5-g5

Does anyone know for sure whether the maneuvre ... ♖f3-f5! was winning for Black on moves 55 or 57, as Monokroussos suggested might be true? <RYBKA 3 EVAL>?

Thanks

So Magnus indeed missed a win several times.

Thanks so much for the quick turnaround on the <RYBKA EVALS>.

So Monokroussos was correct, that Carlsen playing Black missed the winning maneuvre ... ♖f3-f5! not once but *twice(!)*, on both moves 55 *and* 57!

Nov-01-08  awfulhangover: On ICC Naka yesterday said he outplayed Magnus in this game. He also said he would beat Magnus even when Magnus plays at his best. Zzzzzz

Better not point out 55/57 ... ♖f3-f5! to Nakamura then. :-)
