Mar-14-09  Marmot PFL: The plan with 30...Qe4 and Rxa4 is certainly creative, but 30...Qb3 looks like an easy win.
Mar-14-09  cracknik: Second!Every one got their revenge from rapid in blindfold except chucky.
Mar-14-09  AuN1: audacious.
Mar-16-09  Eban: another queen sacrifice for three minor pieces, Aronian vs Sutovsky, 2004

Mar-16-09  ughaibu: Three pieces isn't a sacrifice.
Mar-16-09  whiteshark: Material imbalances is an interesting topic, e.g.

--> ♕:♖♗♗ as in J Gonzales vs K Shirazi, 1988

  Sneaky: Three pieces for the queen almost always favors the pieces--the best that queen can usually hope for is draw by perpetual check. Nevertheless, to play that kind of game with your eyes closed is no easy feat.
Mar-23-09  sheaf: <Marmot PFL> Qb3 white has Ra3 with a tempo..
