Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-14-15  asianwarrior: Naranja got a draw against a former world champion! Quite an accomplishment.,
Sep-25-20  thegoldenband: Not only that, but Black had a pretty big advantage in the final position. I guess Smyslov smelled trouble and correctly decided to bail out, with a little help from his reputation (who among us would turn down a draw offer from Smyslov?).

FSR: Stockfish 16 says that Black is winning (-2.6) after 28...Rfc8!, e.g. 29.Qd1 Rxc1 30.Qxc1 h5! 31.Qb1 Qg4 with a big attack against White's denuded kingside. But it's easy to understand the temptation to take the draw and run against the former world champion.
