After three moves with clear advantage, Gilg played here the strange 26.♘f3?. Correct, and in the spirit of his previos moves, was 26.e5! .

Retireborn: The Gilg who played Tarrasch and Rubinstein also played against Huebner? Or is it somebody else with the same name?
Feb-21-17  sudoplatov: Seems to be the same guy. He also won a game from Alekhine resulting in a plus lifetime score.

Retireborn: Yes, the Budapest gambit game; he also won a simul game against Alekhine in 1925, according to Chessbase.

Informator has one game of his, a win against Pirc, also in 1967. He must have been a tough old gentleman!
