Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-15-10  whiteshark: He's in a real bind...
Jun-08-10  kingfu: Why not just 19 Bxe6+ right away? Black is in a bind with a bend and no bond and no band and no bundeslga!

Oh, how we French players suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.

Jun-08-10  Gilmoy: <kingfu: 19.Bxe6+ right away> Bxe6 20.Rxd8 Raxd8 21.b3 and material is only "even", R+BN for Q+PP. White will struggle to do anything against an RR+BB fortress, while Black has easy plans like Bc3, Bd5-Be4, Rd2-Rf(e8,d8), etc. <19.Qb7> has the subtle point that it snuffs Black's 19..Ra7 defense!
Jun-09-10  kingfu: Thank you Gilmoy! I would have played the right move at the wrong time!

This is the story of my life!
