Mar-14-10  Ulhumbrus: On 27...Bxe6 28 Rb7+! 28...Kg8 abandons the Black King's defence of the bishop on e6 and 29 Nxe6 forks the two Black Rooks as well as the g7 pawn. On 27...Kxe6 28 Rb7+ Bd7 29 Nxd7 the N on f6 is pinned and can neither capture nor recapture on d7.
Mar-25-10  Zenchess: I see this sort of thing in football all the time where the quarterback does the scared rabbit routine instead of calmly throwing the ball away or scrambling for a short gain. Black's King did the scared rabbit routine starting with 24...Kg8?! and then things simply went from bad to worse. All Black had to do was gradually improve his position with stuff such as ...e4, ...e5, then maybe ...h6 and Kh7 along with ...Rfe8.

Richard Taylor: Ivanchuk played better here - but it is only a rapid game. He may have even been winning at the end - he was a pawn up so I don't see anything "masterful" by Carlsen here.
