Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-29-12  optimal play: Some interesting play by both sides in the latter part of this game, although it must have been very frustrating for White at the end.
Mar-01-12  mistreaver: Can some expert on Dutch defense explain is it correct to exchange dark squarred bishops in Stonewall system like this. I know it should be advantageous for White ( since then black's LSB is hemmed in), but here White first avoids the exchange and then self willingly does it after losing a few tempi wandering around. And also what's the point of 23.Qc3 it just keeps the queen in oposition to bishop, i would have played Qd2 to get the queen out of the harm's way. And with cxd5 white misses some simple tactics ( 26...cxd4 27.Qxd4 Rxe2+ followed with Rxc1). Still, Qa1 looks very ugly to me, i think Qd2 muss be lesser evil
