Oct-13-10  cehertan: i have zero recollection of playing this game, though JC is a reliable guy and i'm sure it comes from good sources. Yuck--a case of wishful chess amnesia! John and I contested several Vienna games and this must have been the first--I believe I came better prepared after this and we drew the rest of them! Guess we all need a good butt-kicking now and then. JC and I played 20+ times and had an even score lifetime! He is a New England classic.
Mar-07-19  Whitehat1963: After 23...Qxe5 24. Ba6+ Kb8 25. Nc6+ Ka8, black is truly Hertan!
Mar-07-19  Granny O Doul: I used to flatter myself that though I might forget some of my winning games (generally the unexciting and unsurprising sort), any that I lost would always stay with me.

Not always the case, in fact.
