ketchuplover: How do you know it was unprepared?
Jan-18-11  capafan: What about 16.c5... continuing:

16. .......Nxc5
17. Bb4 b6
18. Rc1 Rhd8
19. Rxd6 Kxd6
20. Nxf7+ Ke7
21. Nxd8 Kxd8
22. Bd3 g6
23. Bxc5 bxc5
24. Rxc5

White down a pawn but with compensation it would appear.

FSR: I doubt that White was unprepared. 17...Nf5 is Shulman's improvement on 17...f6, with which he lost in Grischuk vs Y Shulman, 2005.

FSR: <capafan> 16.c5 is playable. Instead of 18...Rhd8, Black plays 18...Nce4. Opening Explorer
