Jan-06-11  kingfu: I think White may have the advantage. Upcoming is Rxf7+. Why offer the draw unless you are in time trouble?
Jan-06-11  kingfu: So Black must play 27...Bd8 to protect f7. Then White plays 28 h4 with initiative on the Kingside.

  Sastre: The position is equal after 27...Qc4 28.Rxf7+ (28.Qb7 Qe6) Kh8 29.Rxf8+ Rxf8 30.Rxf8+ Bxf8 31.Qa8 Qf1+ 32.Kd2 Kg8 33.Qxa6 Qg2+.
Jan-06-11  swr: kingfu, 27...Bd8 runs into 28. Qxa8.
Jan-07-11  kingfu: I was only looking at protecting f7 which is futile. Bd8 does not work unless you are Movsesian! Thank you , again, Sastre! I did not see the simplifications. Caruana and Movs obviously did see! Black has a perpetual check.

This is why I am sitting here instead of Reggio, which I hear is nice this time of year!
