Jul-28-12  LoveThatJoker: Two major points that I would like to make about this game:

1) <22...Nxh4!> is a great move as 22...Qxh1? loses to 23. Bg2. It should be noted that if 23. gxh4?, then 23...Qxh1 now wins for Black!

2) The Chessboard Geometry from <23...Bxh3> until <31...Qf1#> is totally striking: I'm in awe of the fantastic ideas that Master Marcel Duchamp came up with, and realized, so as to end this game in an aesthetically pleasing way.

PS. <GOTD> The Artist's Geometry

Mar-22-24  goodevans: 23.Bd7+! followed by 24.Rxh4 would have saved White. Seems obvious once you've seen it but how many would find this OTB?

al wazir: White should have played 23. Rg1, holding onto the piece in exchange for three ♙s. It was a decent game until white blundered with 31. Rg5.

But by then black was four ♙s up.

Mar-22-24  vonKrolock: Not to be confused with Johannes Hermanus van Suikertaart
