  takebackok: Easy Friday, anything & everything looks winning for white. 25. Ne6 or Qxd4 or even Nxg6?! so, after 25. Ne6 Bxe3+ 26. Bxe3 Qe8 27 Ne4 or Rxf8+ black is toast.
Aug-09-24  King.Arthur.Brazil: The king feel a little outsider with this position. Maybe, 25. Ne6 Bxe3+ 26. Bxe3 Qe8 27. Ne4 Qe7 28. Bg5...
Aug-09-24  King.Arthur.Brazil: Man, I didn't see the games moves... I still don't believe I found it... wow.

  An Englishman: Good Evening: No wonder Marovic eventually won the GM title. 23.Qe3 is one diabolical trap.
Aug-09-24  mel gibson: Too hard for me.

  chrisowen: Grim its wand juicy its z v its hop Ne6 its ho its coffin abe leeway its dub chi gh its Ne6 beauty;
Aug-09-24  Cellist: I chose Qxd4, but I did not see the full winning combination. It turns out that Qxd4 works as well. The engine gives this continuation, ending a minor piece ahead: +5.14 (25) ply: 25. Qxd4 cxd4 26. Ne4 Bd7 27. Ne6 Qb8 28. Bh6 Bxe6 29. dxe6 d5 30. Nf6+ Kh8 31. e7 Qe5 32. e8=Q+ Rxe8 33.Nxe8 Qxe8 34. Rf8+ Qxf8 35. Bxf8

  al wazir: Black should play 25...Qxf1+. After 26. Kxf1 Bxe3 27. Bxe3, white has only a small advantage (♗+♘ vs. ♖).
Aug-09-24  vajeer: Given that black can claim the queen with a check, there is really only one candidate to consider which is Ne6 attacking the black queen and allowing Bxe3 at the same time. The rest is not a difficult calculation to ensure white has a winning position.
Aug-09-24  vajeer: <al wazir> After 25...Qxf1+ 26.Kxf1 Bxe3 27. Bxe3 White will clean up the d and c pawns. For example one possible line is 27...Kf7 28. Nc7 Rb8 29 Ne4 Bxg4 30. Nxd6+ Ke7 31. Bxc5 And now it is a matter of time before white gobbles up a or b pawn also.
Aug-09-24  Lloyd Gross: <mel gibson: Too hard for me.>

Me too. I tried 25. Nxg6
