jessicafischerqueen: <Deffi> This is a tremendously exciting game, plus you beat a <Croat> (in Canada, you should say "Crote") in an official ICCF Match!

All of my countrywomen salute you for this stirring victory for Canadian honor.

Wing Gambit in Correspondence, how wonderful.

All fireworks from opening to end, but I'm wondering why your opponent resigned?

I've been trying to find a win for white from the resigned position and I can't manage it against my <Shredder>, even with "take backs" but I'm a really weak player.

<Deffi> can you or one of your fans show me the continuation for white, and the ideas behind it?

I no endgame, esai.

Way to go <Deffi> and now 12 games in the database!

Sep-17-11  SketchQuark: Unless I am mistaken, the game score suggests that black did not resign ^_^.

jessicafischerqueen: Wow am I ever stupid.

What can you say about a chess fanatic who can't even read a game score?

I spent a long time on that endgame too and I couldn't see the win.

DOH!

Open Defence: once the forcing continuation eliminated White's d pawn was found this was quite drawn... but an interesting game in terms of plans and moves

SwitchingQuylthulg: <OD> Now the Wing Gambit has withstood the correspondence test, are you going to spring it on <AylerKupp> and his Rybka next time? ;-)

Open Defence: I wanted to play it in our ill fated loss in that QP mess
