Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-02-11  yalie: 21..Nb2 could have given Carlsen a big advantage.

Is the final position really drawish? Can Anand not continue with e5, get the rooks on the 7th rank and press for a while? Something like e5 dxe Rxe c5 Rd7 Nxa Re7! .. looks like white can press without any danger.

He was probably so relieved at being let off by Carlsen after the bum opening that he did not consider playing on.

I wonder what the time situation at the end was.

Sep-02-11  Blunderdome: Somewhere around move 20 Magnus knocked his glass of water over reaching for a piece. It was kind of funny.

The <Norwegian> made his own fjord OTB!

Sep-03-11  SetNoEscapeOn: hmmmmm
Sep-03-11  jmboutiere: 21...Nb2 - 1.77
21...Bf6 - 0.61
great game for Magnus
