Dec-08-11  TrollKing: 57. Kc1? Qxf1!

Bam!

Nice finish by Dr. Huebner.

Dec-11-11  lost in space: Specialities of Korchnoi and Hübner: Walk with the king from center to Kingside, back to center and afterwards to queenside. Than win.
Dec-11-11  lost in space: ohh, Mr. Korchnoi love this when playing the french defense, Mr. Hübner when playing a closed line of the Nimzo-Indian.
Dec-14-11  Ulhumbrus: 10...h5? disturbs the King side pawns.

White has the bishop pair and one benefit which the possession of the bishop pair confers is that its possessor is freer to advance the pawns on either wing than the opponent is free to advance the opponent's pawns on either wing.

White is freer to advance the pawns on either wing than Black is free to advance Black's pawns on either wing.

Instead of 11 Qa4+, on 11 Ng3 Ng6 12 Nf5 Nf4 12 Bf1 g6 13 Ne3 it can be seen that g3 will trap the N on f4 which cannot withdraw to e6 from f4 as White's N can withdraw to e3 from f5.
