Feb-09-12  Nemesistic: Thank god that text messaging, emailing Goon doesn't have my email address, he'd drive me to even his level of insanity with his constant Goldsbies..
Feb-09-12  TheFocus: First name Gizmo. Last name Goober.
Feb-09-12  TheFocus: The following, from <AJ>'s profile, always gives me the giggles.

<If you have any questions, be sure to e-mail me. ("NO-SPAMlifemasteraj(at)yahoo.com" Don't use the parenthesis or the quotation marks - be sure to remove the "NO-SPAM" from the front of the e-mail.)>

Why not just put: If you have any questions, be sure to e-mail me at: lifemasteraj@yahoo.com

Is that so incredibly difficult to do? Really, Gizmo, are you that much of a moron? Some people here at <CG> actually know about e-mail.

Feb-09-12  Colonel Mortimer: <LMAJ> <During big events ... like the Anand-Topalov match ... I was literally getting 200-300 emails in a single day>
Feb-09-12  Nemesistic: Im going to have to have a good look through Gizmo's kibitzes/webpage's, and pick out my favourite Goldsbyism..

Something ridiculously OTT and of course full of the traditional BS, mixed in with a mistake in his annotations should be enough.. His award winning/nominated webpage will be hard to beat though.. Vintage Gizmo!

Feb-09-12  tacticalmonster: Why did every time I log on to this site, I always see this <LMAJ> vs " Trolls " warfare?

<LMAJ> is obviously insane. I don't see any purpose nor any entertainment value in talking some sense into this clown. Are you guys so low in self-esteem you all find the need to cyber-bully him? Grow up, people! Find something more worthwhile to do instead of cyber-stalking him 24/7.

If I am not a chess player and I see this forum, I don't want to be a chess player...

Feb-09-12  Nemesistic: <Tacticalmonster> <LMAJ is obviously insane>

indeed he is, indeed he is..

LIFE Master AJ: <ps> I second the thought.

If we stick to chess, it will be a better site. (The other stuff is pointless.)

I am willing to try ...

Feb-10-12  ernieb: Forgive those who offend you, especially if she has big tatas.
Feb-10-12  Once: Okay, okay. Time to move on. Nothing more to see (or to say) here.

<ernieb> Forgive my ignorance, but who has got large potatoes?

Feb-10-12  King Death: < ernieb: Forgive those who offend you, especially if she has big tatas.>

Forgiveness comes easy when those come down the pike. Check out this page if you get a minute. Doll

Jun-06-24  Allderdice83: A case of the two bishops being more powerful than a queen!
Jun-06-24  King.Arthur.Brazil: I guess this is Monday again... (lgs) 26. Qxc8+ Bxc8 27. Rxc8+ Bf8 28. Rxf8+ Qxf8 29. Bxe5+ Kg8 30. d6+ and 31. d7...

Jun-06-24  mel gibson: I saw the Queen sac but it still felt risky.

score for White +7.01 depth 44.

Jun-06-24  Olavi: 25...Rc8 is a worse move than putting a piece en prise - it means that your brain isn't working at all.
Jun-06-24  redcircle: What is it that Thursday and Friday puzzles are easier than Tuesday and Wednesday? Found this one in 2 seconds, whereas yesterday it was a struggle!

chrisowen: Very very glamorous meld ;)
Jun-06-24  TheaN: Freebie Thursday? Sure. <CG>, I'm genuinely wondering what your difficulty evaluator is. Point is the lack of alternatives here! White has absolutely nothing if the queen goes out of the way (Rxc1+ at least =) and other sacs are pointless because of Rxc2 with Rxc1+.

<26.Qxc8+ Bxc8 27.Rxc8+ Bf8 28.Rxf8+!> is forced. Now, Black should decline with Kg7 but that's RBB:Q and a rather easy win for White. If instead <28....Qxf8 29.Bxe5+ Kg8> Qg7 prolongs it slightly, but 30.Bxg7+ Kxg7 31.e5 +- is trivial <30.d6+ Qf7> is also forced, and now <31.d7 +-> is significantly superior than Bxf7+: 31....Qxb3 32.d8Q+ Kf7 33.Qd7+, White just ignores the Black queen, 33....Kf8 34.Bd6+ Kg8 35.Qe8+ Kg7 36.Qf8#.
