In a game with Schwarz, at the Berlin Congress of 1881, Blackburne played 10. B to K 3, and won.

To get an open file for the R if Black takes the Kt.

(c) 15.Rxe8+

If White plays 15 Kt takes Kt, B takes Q Kt, and wins a pawn.

This game was probably played in May of 1890 perhaps the day after Blackburne vs A Wallace, 1890 was played.
