  FSR: What a crush! You'd think a player as experienced as Gaprindashvili would have a good line prepared against the gambit. Apparently not.

Dec-27-18  fkohn: It never occurred to me that one could transpose to the Smith-Morra from this opening. I guess that those who don't want to play against this gambit can play 1 ... Nf6 before pushing the c pawn.
