Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-08-12  paavoh: Grischuk really put Naka in a tangle...
Jun-19-12  RookFile: Maybe he thought he could play 30. Ng4, but it's see you later after 30....Qxf4+
Jun-19-12  Gilmoy: Looks like Nakamura does it to himself. <13.a4> was maybe one prophylaxis too many, creating more of a weakness than it prevented. The sequence <12.c4 13.a4 14.d4> looks energetic, but surely White's position isn't strong enough to justify it yet. Black pulls out Jenga pieces from the base of the pawn chain, and it all comes down.

<16..Nd7!> is a strong shot: dogpile on White's self-pin, and the self-inflicted weakness at b3 loses the d-file without even a fight. b3 is <so> weak that Black doesn't even waste a tempo to capture it: he'd rather "pay" a pawn not-up just to leave White's Ra3 lousy.

Jun-19-12  Shams: Sometimes you crush the baby, and sometimes the baby crushes you.
Jun-19-12  Jim Bartle: Or, sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug.

maxi: I like <Gilmoy> comment: it was a case of too much prophylaxis. And neglect of development.
