FSR: What happened? Did Tomashevsky flag here?
Jun-07-12  Eyal: No, the score is missing many moves. The final phase of the game can be seen on http://video.russiachess.org/view/1..., starting from 20:32:30.
Jun-08-12  balzarius: Apparently lost on time after White missed some winning continuations.
Jun-08-12  Eyal: <Apparently lost on time after White missed some winning continuations.>

Why do people just make stuff up? There's a video. You can watch it. No one lost on time. Carlsen won the endgame, which is not recorded in this score, and Tomashevsky resigned in a lost position.

Jun-08-12  balzarius: Sorry,I didn't see your post.Indeed ,Carlsen won the endgame after Tomashevsky missed a win and then run short of time.White's position seems crushing after 16 moves but he mixed things up and eventually lost.
Jun-08-12  Eyal: Yeah, 17.Qd6! would have been crushing; I suppose Carlsen's 12...Nh7? was based on a miscalculation. Some moves later, 23...Nc7? gave White another chance to win with the shot 24.Bxf7! (and both captures of the bishop lose to Nd6), but Tomashevsky missed this second chance as well.
Jun-08-12  BlackSheep: I thought there was time issues for a min thanks Eyal a bit hectic but it is conclusive .
Jun-08-12  karik: Moves 27-35 are compiled by me, just to get the correct position at 35.-a4

Aug-05-19  nasiminasirov: 51. Rf2 is forced mate in 9 moves.
Jun-07-24  tonsillolith: <44...Rh2> seems stronger. <45. g5> is forced, immediately offering up the pawn, but if I'm not mistaken White will need to give up at least the bishop in short order.
