Jun-17-12  Chessmaster9001: 14. Rc1! being a novelty is a very strong move leaving black with serious problems in this, very popular line of Gruenfeld defense. This move changes whole evaluation of variation starting with 11. Qd2 (more frequent move here is 11.Bd2. It is astounding that such an expert of Gruenfeld as Fabiano found himself in a lost position around move 20...

Honza Cervenka: No wonder that Radja was sad after this game. Simple 21.Rc7 could have turned this game into a sweet miniature, and he could have been the winner of whole Tal Memorial. And I am sad too because I could have been a few hundred of chessbucks richer now.:-)

  harrylime: Unbelievable.

After blacks' 20..Rg8 he's just staring down the barrel ..

The win is indeed child's play from this position.. What happened in Radjabov's mind ?!

Tkachiev is particularly scornful of Black spending over 40 mins on moves like 14.. f5 and then h6..

I am a Fischer fan as everyone knows on this site.. but one really does dread to think what Bobby would have done to Caruana.
