Dec-22-19  Delboy: Did white miss a faster (and more spectacular) win here?

Fusilli: <Delboy> That does look like a win, but I am not sure why you are calling it more spectacular. I thought the finish in the game was pretty spectacular too. And about faster... well, that depends on when black resigns, after all.
Mar-31-24  Alan McGowan: The Deutsche Schachbläatter 11/1949, p161, has a report on recent tournaments in Argentina, based on a communication from Paul Michel.

Reference is made to a double-round event at Parana and the game against Sanguineti is given, But Michel is White.

'Erster wurde Rossetto mit 15 Punkten, Zweiter ich mit 14½...

'Mit der nachstehenden Partie hoffe ich den Schönheitspreis zu gewinnen, einen prachtvollen Pokal des Unterrichtsministeriums.'

(Rossetto came first with 15 points, I came second with 14½... With the game below I hope to win the Beauty Prize, a magnificent trophy from the Ministry of Education.)
