Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-27-13  tonsillolith: Why not <34. Nf6>?
Jun-27-13  DcGentle: <tonsillolith>: Well you are right, <34. Nf6> threatens <35. Rxh7#>, so <34... Nf8>, but then <35. Bg7#>. Anyways, this was Blitz.

Kramnik missed a nice shot earlier as well, namely <28. Bxg5>, which would have been a checkmate in 11 after

<28... Rxe8>

(not <28... Qxe8> due to <29. Qf6+ Kg8 30. Bd5+ Qf7 31. Bxf7+ Kf8 32. Bh6#>)

<29. Bxe7 Nxe7 30. Qf6+ Kg8 31. Bxb7 Rf8 32. Qxe7 c6 33. Bxc6 Rf5 34. Bd5+ Kh8 35. Be4 Rf1+ 36. Kg2 Rg1+ 37. Kxg1 Kg8 38. Bd5+ Kh8 39. Qf8#>

Anyways, nice game nevertheless.
