Feb-04-14  luzhin: Vishy's idea of challenging the b2 Bishop with Bf6 was fine, but 12...Ne8? was definitely not the way to do it. After 12...Nd7! 13.Qd5 Bb7 14.Bb5 Nb6 Black would be better!

chancho: I cannot envision the Vishy of 2007 - 2008 getting slapped around like this by Nakamura.

Clearly Anand has lost something in his game.

Imo, he is not putting the concentration that he once would put into his games.

Feb-05-14  Mudphudder: I don't get this game. How does vishy seem to drop that bishop so early in the game for no reason?
Feb-05-14  mrbasso: He had a reason! Qd7 doesn't help. Go figure...
Feb-05-14  nikromos: If 14 ...Qd7 15. Nf5 threatening Nd4 and Ne7 wins a piece.
Feb-07-14  ralph46: in the final position black loses at least the bishop on d2 for ex 26..Rd7 27 Rd1 Rbd8 28 Bf6 or 26 ...Rdd8 27 Bf6 or 26 ..Rbd8 27 Bd4
