  kingscrusher: In the period of relative invicibility, the 8 year period spanning from 1916-1924, Capablanca did not lose a single tournament game however he did seem to lose some non-simul games which were one to one games. This is one of them.

La séance comportait 6 parties rapides et successives, entre M. Capablanca d'une part, MM. Muffang, Fred Lazard et Gibaud de l'autre. Le handicap de M. Capablanca consistait en ceci : sa pendule ne pouvait pas dépasser de plus de 10 minutes la pendule de son adversaire, mais celle de l'adversaire pouvait dépasser celle de M. Capablanca d'un quart d'heure.

< This game was played on June 11, 1922 at the Cercle d'Echecs du Palais Royal, by world champion Mr. Capablanca and Parisian champion Mr. Muffang.

The session consisted of 6 rapid, successive games, between Mr. Capablanca on the one hand, and Messrs. Muffang, Fred Lazard and Gibaud on the other. Mr. Capablanca's handicap was that his clock could not exceed his opponent's by more than 10 minutes, but his opponent's clock could exceed Mr. Capablanca's by a quarter of an hour. >
