Penguincw: As pointed out (by me and <fgh>), this game lasted 77 moves and nearly 7 hours, in the 7th round of a tournament, ending in the 7th month of the year. Both players combined have 7 draws in this tournament. Prior to this game, these 2 have had 7 classical meetings before.

moronovich: And concluded on the 7th day !/;)-(though not everybody consider sunday the 7th).
Jul-05-15  ColdSong: One can wait with curiosity and fear the seventh comment here.
Jul-06-15  Ulhumbrus: 6...Nh5 looks like creativity on the part of Meier freeing his queen for ...Qh4 and his f pawn for ...f5 and ...f4

8 e4?! offers to open lines in a position where it is Black who is ahead in development. If the move ...f4 counts as a threat ( eg as in the game H Steiner vs Botvinnik, 1946) one alternative is 8 e3.

If 9 ef will not give White enough one alternative is 9 Bd3

17...fg concedes the e4 square to White's king's bishop. One alternative is 17...Ba6 with ...Na5 to follow
