Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-13-15  beenthere240: I think white can win this if he tries.
Dec-14-15  Atking: When I saw both players playing that game itwas obvious that MVL was exhausted by the departage with Giri. If that's so easy for Magnus why not be fair and give few hours as rest to Maxime. On that match the first game Maxime blundered on what is a classical draw he kew when he was schoolboy. The second game, this one, he played on automatic mood obviously too tired to think about. But no it wasn't such easy to Magnus as at the end he has only 1mm left, MVL more than 10.
Dec-14-15  Atking: There is also rules Before any post but you seem unable to understand neither what I wrote nor these rules.
Dec-17-15  Atking: And about luck, the same day, it's clear that Grischuck got a not difficult winning attack vs Carlsen and lost. MVL having such luck during the tournament will have finished it with a lead of one point and playoff would'nt have been necessary.
Dec-17-15  thegoodanarchist: MVL did a great job of avoiding exchnages when he was down material, until he reduced the game to a situation where an exchange couldn't hurt him.

Good play by MVL. But also good play by MC who had black and achieved a good position anyway
