tpstar: Carlsen made a real splash in blitz. Here the center was bottled up but his pieces started spilling out in an explosive middlegame and White ended up all wet.

The Discovery 20 ... Bf1 was a unique tactic to trade lsb. 23 ... d4 24. e5 Nc4! 25. Rf3 (25. Rxc4? Qd5+) c5 was a nice sequence consolidating the Pd4 and Black closed it out quickly.

Jun-05-17  John Abraham: Karjakin must have nightmarish flashbacks whenever he has to face Carlsen in blitz after what happened to him in the world championship tiebreaker round.

ajk68: 23. Rc3? is dubious in my book.
Jun-10-17  Cheapo by the Dozen: The last two moves could be a Monday puzzle of a somewhat unusual kind.

Jun-10-17  barryh1976: 19...a4 is brilliant as it delivers the pawn storm later in the end game.
