  HeMateMe: nice tactical slugfest. Don't you hate it when your opponent finds a way to keep gambit pawns?

  fredthebear: 43...Rcc1?? is fatal. Black pulls the goalie to triple on the 1st rank (defender goes on the attack), and pays the price. White has a mate in two in the final position shown.

This is not a pure Max Lange Mate but it uses a similar bishop check technique on the back rank to corner the losing king.

Since the continuation offers a queen sacrifice accepted for a pretty double bishop mate, perhaps it should be called the Lou Yiping Bishop Pair Mate! See diagram below.
