May-31-22  spingo: Gunsberg plays the opening badly. I have seen him do this many times in the past, in a rope-a-dope style (e.g. Tarrasch vs Gunsberg, 1885).

I can't believe he got away with this. At move 15 Gunsberg is 2 pawns down and with a bad position.

15. .. Bg4. I think this is a garbage move. I have seen moves identical to this in online blitz, and it can win.
16. h3 Bxh3 - yeah, this sort of rubbish.
17. gxh3 Qxh3.

18. Nd6?.
The best move is 18. Re1, to give the king some room and the rook defends some good squares on the e-file.

Later on, I thought Blackburne was going to win the ending. Gunsberg was lucky here.
