Kibitzer's Corner
May-12-20  spingo: From the Remedial section of the Toulouse Open (1990).

The funniest part is that Black plays 2...Rg8 and later needs his rook on the h-file anyway.

May-12-20  Delboy: Wow. I imagine 6 checks in a row is a record
May-12-20  Cheapo by the Dozen: Nice find of a bizarre game.

PawnSac: I'm wondering if blacks 3rd was an enforced touch move. Maybe he was adjusting but didnt state it? who knows. but it's a silly move

scormus: <PawnSac> It makes a bizarre kind of sense. That does happen, occasionally
May-12-20  Brenin: 24 ... gxf3 first would have given Black better practical chances than the immediate 24 ... Qh2+. White's best defence seems to be the unnatural-looking 25 Bd1, rather than 25 Ke3 fxe2, or 25 exf3 Qxf3+ 26 Ke1 Rh1 27 Kd2 Rh2+, for instance.
May-12-20  newzild: An interesting game. A shame Black lost - takes balls and imagination to play 2...Rg8 so early in the game.
May-12-20  thegoodanarchist: Alternate pun:

To the tune of <Life's Been Good> by Joe Walsh,

P. Zarrouati won't take on e5

May-12-20  erimiro1: 2.- R-g8!!
May-12-20  Predrag3141: I did not like
10 c5 (the natural e4 rates a half pawn higher) or 10 … e5 (dxc5, keeping the position closed, rates just under a pawn higher)
