Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-06-19  spingo: This was the final game.

Radjabov had won the first of the blitz games as white: Radjabov vs Ding Liren, 2019 in spectacular fashion. That was game "7.9", ie the 9th game between the two in the 7th round.

The time limit for that game and this one was 5m + (3s/move).

Having lost that game, Ding Liren was compelled to play for a win in this game (game "7.10).

The prize difference between 1st and 2nd was apparently $30,000.

Radjabov never seemed to be in any trouble.

42.e5, the game was level, even though White was a pawn up.

Ding Liren is rated number 2 blitz player in the world. Did you know that? Yet Radjabov beat him 2/2!

53...Nxg3.

White later tried a stalemate trap. No good.

Well played Radjabov!

Oct-14-19  tonsillolith: <69...Kg5!> triangulating in order to gain opposition with the white bishop. Clever! White is then in Zugzwang.
Oct-14-19  fabelhaft: <This was the final game. Radjabov had won the first of the blitz games as white>

Or the other way around, rather. This was the penultimate game, while Radjabov vs Ding Liren, 2019 was the final game.
