Sally Simpson: I’m pretty sure the score is incorrect unless both players were in severe time trouble. (megabase has the same score as does 365chess https://www.365chess.com/game.php?g... )

Here (Black to play)

Black did not play 29...Qa8+ 30.Kg1 Qf3 0-1

And here (White to play)

White did not play 30.Qxf7+ and 31.Qxe8

The mistake in copying the game from the score sheet happened around move 29 I think that here

White played 29.Qf3 which stops the Qa8+ threat and 30.Qxf7+ is no longer on. The rest of the game follows logically. If the Queen had gone to f3 on move 29 then this position arrives on move 32 with White to play.

White played 32.Qe4 unpinning the Knight missing Black’s reply 32...Re2.

The game came from the England v Iran match. England won 3-1.
