  An Englishman: Good Afternoon: That was unfortunate. Black threatens both the Rook and checkmate.

Aug-16-20  Ulhumbrus: If 17 d4 is not the best way to take advantage of Black's doubled c pawns one alternative is 17 Nd2 heading for c4 after which Nxd6 removes Black's bishop pair and so gets some useful work from the N which does not seem to do much on f3.
