Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-24-21  Ulhumbrus: After 12...Nf6 the Black a pawn will eventually fall after which White's a pawn will help to win the game. This suggests ...b6 followed by playing this knight to c5 instead.

However at present Black's queen's bishop is threatened as well as Black's h5 pawn. This suggests 12...Bg6 to be followed by ...b6 and then ...Nc5

Jan-27-21  MordimerChess: Nils Grandelius bought the course from Anish Giri about Najdorf and played novelty which was proposed by Anish 16...Rc8

He got a very promising position, in the interview of Giri, the decisive mistake was 28...Kf8, stockfish doesn't agree but after a couple of moves, it makes a lot of sense.

Enjoy!

Feb-03-21  xanadu: I guess one central issue in Najdorf-Oppocensky-like opennings is the break f4 by White. If Black takes (...e5xf4) then it gets nice diagonal for its two Bishops...but it gets a weak pawn structure also. If White neutralizes the Bishops, then goes to an advantageous final, like in the present game.
Dec-12-21  DouglasGomes: Giri calls it a equal ending, but really White has a tiny edge
