  Sally Simpson: Hi (Peter)

Of late, for the past few months I've become disillusioned (totally fed up) with the modern games and the joyless way they are annotated.

So I've been going over the games in the books of the heroes from my youth. Those that sunk in the chess hook.

I'm doing Tartakower again. Up to game 11 in his best games. What joy. It's like being set free or being deaf for 50 years and the suddenly being able to hear The Beatles again.

I mention this in passing as you have put all his games from his best games on here. Game Collection: My Best Games of Chess, 1905-1954 by Tartakower

Just thought I say hello to a fellow Tartakower fan. His notes are poetry.
