  wwall: After 23.Qe3, Black tried 23...Nf4, threatening 24...Nxg2. Safer may have been 23...Rh8 or 24.Nf6. Instead of 24.f3, White's best may be 24.Qd4+ Kg8 25.Ne4. After 24.f3 Black tries 24...Rh8? (threatening 25...Nxg2 26.Kxg2 Rxh2) instead of 24...Nh5 and 25...Nf6.

Instead of 25.Ne4, best may be 25.Qd4+ and 26.Qxd7, winning a pawn.

After 25...Rxh2, White cannot play 26.Kxh2 because of 26...Nd5+ and 27...Nxe3. White's best may be 26.g3. But White played 26.Nd6 and now Black can play 26...Rxg2+! (instead of 26...Rh4) 27.Kf1 (27.Kh1 Rh8#) 27...g5, threatening 28...Rh8 for the win.

Instead of 29.g4, better may be 29.Qd4+ Kg8 30.g4 and 31.Rh1.

After 29.g4, instead of 29...Rh4, perhaps Black can hold with 29...Rh7 30.Qe5+ Kg8.

30.Qe5+ Kf8 (30...Kg8 31.Qf6 Rh7 32.Rh1) 31.Qf6 Rh7 (31...Bxf3 32.Qxf3 Qc6 33.Qxc6 dxc6 34.Kg3 wins for White) 32.Rh1, threatening 33.Rxh3 Rxh3 34.Qxf7#.
