Check It Out: 40...Qxb8 just wins. Problem with the score?

fredthebear: So me checks it out. Yep, surely there's a problem w/the score, I says to myself. It's a rapid game, so there should not be a 40-move threshold.

Then me sees this: https://www.365chess.com/game.php?g... They gots the same oddball score conundrum.

Now me thinks Black's 39th might be incorrect. Even a drunk skunk at the Kibitzer Bar-f wouldn't play 40...Kg7 if 40...QxQ was available. That says to me that 40...Kg7 was to get out of check.

https://www.bing.com/images/search?... Nobuddy likes a litterbug!

Then me sees this -- it's the same problem score: https://www.dailychess.com/chess/gr...

Then me reads Pavel Tregubov married Alexandra Kosteniuk in 2015. Now my concentration is broken.

Me thinks it's time to go pop-a-top myself. Wettin' me whistle will improve me guesstrations so me can solve these puzzles: https://www.wtharvey.com/adam.html

Dec-22-21  Brenin: 30 Bh5 Bd8 is also clearly wrong: 31 Bxg6 wins the Q.
