  HeMateMe: Explain the pun?
Dec-17-23  carpetshark: A philosophical pun. Here is a detailed explanation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alleg...
Dec-17-23  mrknightly: The Allegory of the Cave, or Plato's Cave, is an allegory presented by the Greek philosopher Plato in his work Republic to compare "the effect of education and the lack of it on our nature." Plato begins by having Socrates ask Glaucon to imagine a cave where people have been imprisoned from childhood, but not from birth. So, my guess is the name and the cave reference is to White's position at move 42.

It would appear Sven caved in...

An amusing position and a nice pun for the game. It would have been truly brilliant if it were Black stuck in the 'cave' rather than White but you can't always have everything.
