  LRLeighton: Although Kosten eventually won the game, he missed a nice combination that would have won more quickly with 36 Rxh6+!, gxh6 (36...Kg8 37 Rh8+ with mate to come) 37 Bd4+, Rf6 (37...Kg8 38 Be8+ and mates in a few) 38 Qc7! This quiet move is the only move to continue white's attack. Black must stop the mate. 38...Qg8 (38...Kg8 39 Qh7+, Kf8 40 Bc5+ [40 Qh8+ also mates eventually], Rd6 41 Qh8+, Qg8 42 Qxf6+ and mates next) 39 Qxb6, Qxg6 and now both 40 Qxf6+ and 40 Bxf6+ leave white with a won ending.
