# 29.Qd4 was tempting, but too optimistic... With 29.Qe3! etc White would be on the proper path

MissScarlett: Another new Alekhine game without a source. This has to stop!
Oct-28-22  Chessius the Messius: This is no Hans Denver. My 2c.
Oct-28-22  Chessius the Messius: PS pretty sure the wiki profile was created three months ago.

Olympic sources also mention dates like "March 2022".

Stonehenge: https://skakbladet.skak.dk/images/s... and https://skakbladet.skak.dk/images/s... have an advertisement:

<Hans Denver Ingeniør, cand. polyt. Aalborg

Jernbetonkonstruktioner>

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_... lived in Aalborg (1906 and 1911 census).

Stonehenge: <And of course there is also a story behind such a house.

Boliga writes that the house dates from 1912 and was built by Hans Denver, who was an engineer and wanted a house in concrete.

The story goes that he was fond of chess and therefore wanted a home with its own tower and shooting range. And he got that, as you can see.>

Oct-28-22  Chessius the Messius: The question is now: why would wiki create a profile in 2022 about a guy no one ever heard of before and who passed away more than 60 years ago?

Stonehenge: Lots of info but still no game:

Oct-28-22  Chessius the Messius: Nice, but the huge ugly Mondrian building in the background kind of neutralizes the cosy effect of Denver's creation on its environment.
Oct-28-22  ZoboBear 000000001: Alexander Alekhine (kibitz #3634)
