Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-26-23  Brenin: I saw 25 ... Rxf4 (better than 25 ... Bxf4, since we need to finish the exchange with a B on f4) 26 exf4 Bxf4 27 Qf2 Bxg3 28 hxg3 (it's probably best to keep the Qs on the board than to exchange them with 28 Qxg3 Qxg3+ 29 hxg3 h2) Qh6 (or Qg5, I'm not sure which is best). At this point I was sure that Black stood better, but I couldn't find a clear win, or a clear defence strategy for White. The rest of the game was exciting hand-to-hand combat.

for sure. And the puzzle begins with 25. ..?..
and ends with 50. ..Bb1

I would hardly expect the average player to solve a 24 move sequence!

  al wazir: 28...Qh8 looks like an alternative way to win: 29. Ne2 h2 30. O-O-O (30. Bxh8 h1=Q+ 31. Qf1 Qxh8) Qh6+ 31. Bd2 Qh3.
