Nov-02-23  Mayankk: 26 ... Rxd3 27 Rxd3 Bc4 28 Rfd1 Qc5+ 29 Kh1 Bxc3 30 bxc3 Qb5 seems to win a piece as Black has no pieces left to defend the pinned Rook.

  chrisowen: I fetch its won Rxd3 abbot lab v goof ace its me its chaffinch its Rxd3 dim;
Nov-02-23  Brenin: 26 ... Rxd3 27 Rxd3 Bc4 was rather obvious. Maybe White would have done better with 28 Rfd1, e.g. 28 ... fxe5 29 Rxd8 Bxe2 30 Nxe2 Qxb2, and at least his Rs are connected, and not vulnerable to the Q fork which ended the game.
Nov-02-23  mel gibson: I got only the first ply.

  al wazir: 28. Rfd1. Now what? 28...Bxd3 29. Rxd3 looks pretty even.

If 28...Rxd3, then 29. Rxd3 fxe4 30. Qxe4 (30. Nxe4 Bxd3 31. Qxd3 Qxb2 32. Ng3) Bxd3 31. Qxd3 Qe1+ 32. Kh2 (not 32. Qf1 Bd4+) Be5+ 33. g3 Qf2+ 34. Kh1 Qxb2 35. Ne4, and white is only a ♙ down.
