May-20-24  mel gibson: I saw that but it took a while.

Stockfish 16.1 declines the Bishop and says:

May-21-24  King.Arthur.Brazil: The best try seems to be: 42. Bxe6 Kxe6 43. Ng7+ Ke7 44. Re8#. Then, it i forced: 43... Rxg7 44. Rxg7 Bxb4 45. f5+ Kxf5 46. Rxd7,,, with a winning end-game.

An Englishman: Good Evening: Took a while to verify the win because saw the same defense preferred by Stockfish 16. One of the rare times when my thinking equaled one of the silicon monsters.

Thank you.

Yes - I also declined the Bishop in my thoughts.

May-21-24  vajeer: <Mel gibson> thanks for SF analysis. In the 42...Rf8 line, I went with 43. f5 that forces rook exchange and simplifies immediately.

There are so many lines.
SF goes through billions of board positions.
