  jnpope: I decided to ignore the "alternate ending" given in the <Montreal Daily Herald> as that publication only has four moves from a diagrammed position and not the full game score as found in the Quebec <Morning Chronicle>, 1892.12.07, p4 (and I was in no way comfortable hybridizing the two sources to create a longer game, i.e. removing 33...Rxe5 and splicing in the other moves starting with 33...Kf8).
