An Englishman: Good Evening: The 10...Qc7 variation of the Nimzo-Indian Defense has exactly 1,000 games in the DB as of 20 October 2024, and it still holds more than enough intrigue today.

19...Bh5?! looks *much* too bold to these tired old eyes, but carbon-based life forms can't always find the best defenses when the clock keeps ticking. Perhaps White should have offered a perpetual check with 25.Kf1,Qh1+; 26.Ke2,Qh5; 27.Kf1 et cetera.

The position after 43...Qf6--amazing. Black's Knights only cover 15 squares but they own the entire board.
